I headed to Stokesley Show on 20th September 2025, armed with my camera and wellies and ended up completely soaked in the rain. Despite the drizzle there was plenty to capture, from horses, sheep and goats to the busy showground buzzing with people enjoying the stalls, competitions and country fun. A wet but worth it…

Father Christmas made a magical appearance in Scarborough’s harbour this year, skipping the choppy waters, before making his way to his grotto in Boyes. Boxing Day in Scarborough followed its long‑standing route from the town centre down to the seafront, with crowds braving the cold to watch the Fishermen vs Firemen football match on South Bay before gathering at the harbour for the chaotic, fancy‑dress raft race, all wrapped in that classic seaside winter atmosphere that makes this day…
