Hi, I’m Emma

A photographer based by the North Sea in Scarborough. I’m usually found somewhere coastal (preferably with an ice cream), or tucked away in a corner of the UK, photographing people simply going about their lives.

I’ve got a soft spot for local events, British summertime traditions, and all the gloriously kitschy charm of the great British seaside. No matter where I travel, I somehow always end up back by the sea.

My photos are all about real life—people doing their thing, places in all their often gaudy glory, and the way I see the world through my lens. I like to think they’re a little reminder to pause and notice the magic in the everyday.
